Food Warmer not heating
Our cafeteria has a food warmer Model: HL3-18-11 S/N: 022016 595297 hotL0GIX
It heats up 80 and then it drops to 70-75, but does not go up any higher. What part do I need to order? Purchased the unit Last 2 years ago. Removed access cover on the bottom for any obstruction, clear of obstruction. fan runs. For questions please call at 806-433-3527. Richard

I suspect that the auto-reset high limit may be opening. Usually from a lack of air flow over the heating element. Like fan motor not up to speed. Or an air control baffle in the wrong place. But don’t trust the on-board thermostat for temp. Use a test unit and DVOM to verify what is not getting power to the heating element. Don’t forget the muffin cooling fan either.
