I am in the process of converting a Marshall Air FR1212BG broiler from Nat Gas to LP. I am in need of Marshall Air part # 502203 gas modulating valve (Maxitrol Selectra M420H 1/2′) to complete the conversion but can’t find one anywhere. Would anyone happen to know where I could get my hands on one?

How about finding a Honeywell valve conversion kit. I know that Honeywell ships the generic (<b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;”>Honeywell SV9501M8129 Smart Gas Valve) valve as natural gas with a LP conversion kit.

fixbear, thank you for your reply. This broiler has two honeywell gas valves which have been converted as you suggested with the spring kit. The modulating valve is separate and requires one specifically for LPG.

That kit number is for the modulating valve. Consist of the spring, black adjusting screw, o ring, and black cap
