  • Help with Vulcan Hart Model # VCMS-101

Posted by money on January 24, 2020 at 4:43 pm

    Hi,

Wanted to see if someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a Vulcan Clam Shell Model # VCMS-101.  I am looking for the PTFE Sheets part # 716931.

When I talked to the manufacture, they said that they dont carry them any more and there is no replacement part for them.

Do I have to go aftermarket on this or will another manufacture carry these if they match up on size?

    Thank you

<div>Or</div><div>This may work if you cut to fit. </div><div>https://www.allpointsfps.com/search/?searchterms=Ptfe%20sheets

</div><div>Possible you could call them back and ask for the manufacturer of the sheets, Vulcan may have outsourced that product</div>

I tried that number and got nothing.

Oh well, appears that Vulcan doesn’t even know the part number changed in their OWN manual.

You DO mean model VMCS-101, right?  The model you provided is a little dyslexic-ified.

That part number you provided crosses to nothing I can find.  Where’d you get THAT part number?

The correct part number is in this manual:

CATALOG OF REPLACEMENT PARTS – VMCS-101

    Here’s your part:

    Hobart 00-944505 GTS12 PTFE SHEET

    *     *     *     *     *

I wish I got paid for this.

        LOL!

Most of us come here for a desire to help others in the trade.

I do this usually with a cold one nearby while cooking dinner and thinking I should watch a movie instead.

        I think I’ll do that now…

Thank you everyone with a quick response and Ectofix for finding the part #.

I got the part # from a customer and then gave it to Vulcan who said they dont carry that part anymore.

    Once again. Thank you!
