How would you approach this fryer?
You get a dispatched to a call. The manager complaint is: the Frymaster Fryer is backfiring and shooting a fireball out of the top. What would be your first steps to address the issue?

That would indicate a late ignition. Main burner blockage or carryover path.
Inspect burner and ignition system. Also check chimney and tiles.
