  • I have a LXIH Hobart keep getting a E5 code not draining

I replaced the main coil on the sanitation tank and the overheat sensor on the wash tank area it seems to wash fine but I keep getting an E5 code saying it’s not draining it appears to be draining and then throws the code wondering if the water level sensor on the wash tank could be bad sensing water there. Wondering if there’s a way to test it with a ohms meter.

Hopefully you have not used domestic soap in this machine. If bothers the water sensing probes. Remove the strainers and use a Scotchbrite pad to clean the probes. (3)

Other than what I said above, it will be you plumbing in house is restricted and not emptying in a timely fashion. Grease build-up or undersized piping. Obviously with a undercounted, no one wants to pull the machine to check and clean the drain lines, but that is the usual cause. Often they get installed with a hose that gets crimped with age. Or is corrugated and collect grease deposits.
