Manitowoc Indigo water supply Issue.
I have a Manitowoc IY0454A Indigo ice machine. It went into a safety code {E01} which I cleared and discovered that the water valve is not opening to supply water when needed. I watched the control board as it went through a complete startup and the red indicator LED is not coming on to indicate the relay is operating and allowing water to enter the machine. What signals the control board to respond or is the problem something internal on the control board?

E01 is a long freeze cycle. Is the condenser clean and fan running?
to check for water working, turn the machine off. When you turn it back on it should flow to purge level. If slow, Check your supply pressure and filtration system. There is a water electrode in the top of the sump to detect level. It gets cleaned when the machine is cleaned with Manitowoc ice machine cleaner. As I recall on that machine I think it has the 3 probe model.
