    Hello Everybody,

We are a food service equipment dealer based in Miami and we are looking at helping our team members with their careers in Commercial Food Equipment repairs and installation. Some of our team members are very efficient and knowledgeable when it comes to mechanical-related issues. Our issue is that we don’t know where to start to get them certified and licensed. Does anybody got any recommendations as to what type of courses, licenses, or certifications we can send our guys to? Excuse my lack of knowledge.

    Thank you!!

Hot or cold side? they cross a bit, but are definitely different tracks.

You may want to check the offerings of your local Community College. Manufacturer’s have service classes as well.

    Hello!

Thank you for your response. Our aim is to have them train in both areas.

    Best regards.

I can think of two good ways. RSES for the cold side. Partial to this because I was a member and got a good share of my training and EPA certification from them. Also today CFESA is the big one. They can provide the Gas certification better. Both cover electrical. Glad you care about your tech’s training. You’ll get rewards down the road.
