I have a trane xr90 furnace and I’m getting the code (4 flashes) of an open high limit device. I found out that the limit switch is obsolete and I was provided with a sensor; sat. line 2124 for a replacement. My question is How do I hook this up to my furnace being that the connector is completely different and so is the switch itself.?

Have you got the TUX number and is it mounted for up flow, downflow, or horizontal? The limit switch is just a temp sensing NC two wire switch to protect the plastic exhaust piping.
