I have a toolbad that I just throw over my shoulder, though I’m looking to get one of the Veto backpacks. I hate toolbags that can fall over when you grab them and all your tools spill out.

I normally use a cart or a dolley or something when I can, I hate carrying my tools around 😀

I invested in the Bosch stacking system years ago but it was too annoying to have to remove cases to get to lower cases when I needed something. How high do you stack your Milwaukee cases, or do you stick with one?

Not a big fan of tool boxes and such, I prefer things I CAN lift if I need to, but can also be rolled around.

Backpack idea is nice, a co-worker of mine has the Vetopack and it’s HEAVY when you load it up, so it’s easier to roll it around but it’s solid when it’s sitting, doesen’t tip over or fall so it seems to be just the thing.

I have two bags. One a smaller Southtown “go bag” with meter, extended multi screwdriver, Needlenose, linesman, etc. the basic troubleshooting tools.

My “this sh$t just got serious” bag is the Klein backpack. Has all the nut drivers, Allen’s, wire strippers, etc. Added bonus to being a backpack, is that I got very judicious as to what was really needed in the bag (since my older than 50 a$$ has to schlep it around!)

A cart would be ideal, but as an MCD IHT it’s bot feasible.

I’ve always carried an electricians hand tool pouch over my shoulder. Screwdrivers, nutdrivers, pliers, etc…and still do. I try to keep it light. Many years ago I started carrying a 5 gallon pickle bucket in addition, manually, for pipe wrenches and larger tools. That started to get heavy and old quickly. So then I purchased the smaller size fold up hand truck at pep boys ( have also seen it elsewhere) and fastened the 5 gallon bucket to it with a bungee cord. It fits perfectly. Later the 5 gallon bucket organizers appeared in stores and I bought one of the first ones out. I’ve worn out several buckets, fold up hand trucks, and a few bucket organizers with daily use since then, I don’t get in front equipment without it. Many customers have commented me on it and I use it everyday. It can be customized and may be an option for some techs.
