    I seem to go through a lot of the display on a Hobart FT1000. Is there anything

    I should be checking? seems about every 6 months just go blank but the unit will fill

    and wash

    Measure your line voltage and check the transformer taps to be correct. Sounds like a high voltage secondary or power surges.
