I have a question about True LED lamps. Do they require a cap at one end to close the circuit, or does one end remain open? Original PN 960602, replaced by TRUE227009.

A lot of variables here. What model True are you working on? What temp control does it have?

Normally the LED light strip is made for more that one on some units. And they can plug into each other with the last one having a seal cap for moisture.

Just so you know, True has a excellent tech support system. You can go here. You can also click on support Resource Library and find your model. They have several videos and manuals. Make sure you have the serial number too.
