  • What does a water diagnostic light mean on a Scotsman ice machine?

    The scotsman ice machine is not working and is blinking twice and repeating the blinking on the water diagnostics light? Does this mean we need a new circuit board? Please email me if you have any helpful information. Thank you!

    Does not need a board. It means that the machine does not see incoming water to the tank in the specified time.  Check your water filters and supply.  Then check your water solenoid filter, and that water is coming into the tank. If the tank is filling and overflow is happening in the fill cycle, check the water level sensor to be clean.  Most all problems with ice machines is caused by a lack of maintenance. Namely monthly or bi-monthly cleaning cycles and sanitation.  .

    This is the manual for your machine;

    This one is not available on PartsTown. so save it for the future.

    It explains the cycles and cleaning.

    If You are technically inclined, here is the parts manual with the all important wiring diagrams.
