    We tried to change the leveling not the door and that didn’t help.

    Make sure the box is level before making any adjustments shown in the manual.

    Look at the top hinge and you will see a ring with 4 holes and a screw in one of the holes.  If the screw is missing, that’s a reason for the door to not close.  If the screw is in the ring against the stop pin,  place a Allen wrench in the front hole to relieve tension, remove the screw and place a second Allen in the hole where you removed the screw. now rotate the ring forward so that you can replace the screw in the next hole against the stop pin.  If you do not feel any tension, you will have to replace the door spring..

    I forgot to add that some of the early ones had a bit of a problem with the anchor pin breaking. That would require removal of the top cover and upper hinge.
