I shorted out the top element on my Pizza Pal Model # 412. Can I fix it?

The rest of the model number would be a real help.  Wisco makes a bunch of those ovens, each designed for a specific purpose.  Some for frozen, and some for rising dough. Although they look the same on the outside, the heaters are all different to create different cooking properties. 

 

As for whether you can fix it,  only you know your abilities.  I will tell you that it is not the easiest thing to repair.  Let alone what you will run into from heat damage and time.  If you do not have high temp terminals and wire available,  send it out to someone that does.

 

I would like to add that often with this product,  the pizza supplier will provide replacement and repair.  They like to keep the product sales up and give them to get in the door.
