    Wow, what kind of oil has that much expansion.  Or they accumulate a lot of water in the bottom that evaporates.

    That sounds a bit effy to me. If he had added oil to the fryer then why would it be low again? Thermal contraction and expansion does not evaporate the thing expanding or contracting so if he is losing oil and having to add, why would that be due to that?

     

    If the oil is evaporating off the deep fryer, that’s a different story, but I don’t think that’s possible as I Can imagine the oil will need a ton of heat to evaporate.

    This is the way I understand it.overnight,the oil settles to the lower oil level line,so he added oil to reach the upper oil level line before turning fryers on.if the fryer was just left to reach temp,the oil would have been at the correct upper oil level line in vat.does that sound right you?

    only happened when that manager opened in a.m

    Alright, so one specific manager happened to open it up this one time and thought something was wrong?
