hello everyone! new to the forum but not new to fixing equipment. Been in the restaurant business for over 40 years and have always been hands on. I need some advice on my Hobart dishwasher, Recently ive been getting the Wrench with the P1 Error code. I Know its related to the wash cycle as the water is not heating after filling. The water only gets hot on the rinse boost cycle and that gets up to 185 or so. I can clear the error code by restarting the machine but it always comes back the next day. I started ordering parts but i feel like I’m missing something, i wanted to go in there and replace everything at once.

This is the part i was wondering about? its the probe sump wire. is this a good idea to change also?
If you guys could offer any other advice it would be tremendously appreciated.

A DVOM is your friend here. The clue I get is the tank warmer is not working. I’d start with continuity of the element and then the circuit. Is the relay for it closing? If not the tank switch/temp sensor may be your culprit.
