The oven turns on has power coming in but the contactor does not engage and the screen does not light up at all. There is also I mild burnt smell inside. I’ve checked some fuses that I could find but now I’m stuck. Any ideas

I would need a model number to find out the sequence of operation. If you have incoming voltage but the contactor will not close you can trace the coil voltage to and keep tracing back until you find where the voltage is lost. I can look for a wiring diagram with a model number.

Was this oven just installed or relocated? Rational ovens have a power switch that provides power to the control transformer’s. If the power taps are not checked and verified at commissioning, You may burn one out. Especially the toroidal one. They are made for the world market and all the different power grids.

    Hello,

    You can check below steps-

    -Ensure all fuses are tested.

-Look for any signs of burnt or damaged parts.

    -Test the Power Supply

    -Examine the Control Board:

    -Inspect the Contactor

    -Test the Transformer

-Make sure all door and safety switches are engaged.

    Hope it helps !

    Thank you
