Since my education and work experience is in commercial HVAC/R and not kitchen appliance repair, I'm not sure if a piece is missing from this flue area or if something was added by the previous tech they fired. Two identical units (by model#) but the flue is different between the two as seen by the attached photo compared to previous photo. One seems to be open the other closed. Any ideas?

Thanks. Do you have the name of that supplier? Also I attached a picture of the part that I think needs replacing. It appears there is a piece missing based on the other skillet I have or the tech before me added one. Where it is all wavy the other skillet has a 1/2 in. piece along it.

Given the history of this chef that makes more sense. It wouldn't be the first time he has overloaded something. Thanks for the info.

Perhaps I'm testing it wrong. I put one lead on the igniter/flame sensor and the other on the ground wire from the module. Make sure my meter is set to micro amp (u) I get no reading even tho sensor is engulfed in flame. Unit will cycle multiple times while steamer is running, then it decides not to relight and alarm will sound. Reset and groundhog day all over again.

Yep, I already put in for a P.O. for it. I know once I start taking it apart I'm going to wish I had all the gaskets and other parts. Convincing the guy with the purse strings is another matter tho.

I was wondering about that. The serial #'s are not that far apart. I'm guessing the last 2 digits may be the different series tho, which explains the different look. WT6066-07A-01 and WT6270-07A-02

I use a Rubbermaid roll around cart. It allows me to put my tool gag and socket set as well as other tools I need on it plus I can carry my parts also when needed. I put a small bracket on the front to hook my 4ft. ladder on when I need it. The cart has a top and bottom shelf. works perfect for my needs. I have 4 kitchens at my casino I take care of.
