look in gas error code history. the codes are pretty specific as to whats going on.

this might sound like a dumb question, but is the burner blower running? if not gas valve wont open

I have run into that. Turned out to be a compatibilty issue between the new speed board and the exisiting controller.

Garland has a chart showing which versions of each are compatible to work together.

is this an SCC WE oven? How is incoming gas pressure static, and the drop when hot air burners fire up?

I have never seen a steam burner backfire or even have delayed igntion, thats why I ask about gas pressure as you are having problems with all the burners .

Backfiring issues on hot air heat exchangers on scc we units can sometimes be solved with a modified burner.

  • why plug it into a gfci?

as ryantruck9 said, check the gas error logger code then check in the manual, this error will point you in the right direction. could be a bad module

thanks for the quick reply. thers an expansion plug right under the lower clutch bearing in the main transmission. when this bearing blew the clutch shaft dropped and pushed out this plug and all the oil in the transmission poured out . you can see this plug on a parts breakdown, I have ordered it, just wondering if anybody has installed or replaced one. thanks again
